Where do I get my textbooks? After you reserve your books online, you can pick them up at the bookstore that you chose on the website. After 3 days, you can return the books to the same bookstore.

Can I search and reserve my textbooks at the bookstore? Yes, your local bookstore has designated a computer in their store to help you find and rent your textbooks.

What do I need to Check-out my books? You will need your Personal Check-Out Number (PCON) to give to the bookstore clerk. The PCON will be located on your profile and emailed to you after you have reserved your textbook. See the How It Works page

What do I need to Check-in my book? You will need you Personal Check-In Number (PCIN) to give to the bookstore clerk. The PCIN will be located on your profile and emailed to you after you have picked up your books from the bookstore. See the How It Works page

What is a PCON/PCIN number? The PCON or Personal Check-Out Number is a randomly selected alphanumerical number that will confirm your reservation. This number will be both on your profile page and sent to you via email. The PCIN or Personal Check-In Number is a randomly selected alphanumerical number that will confirm you returning your textbook to the bookstore. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PRESENT YOUR PCIN/PCON AT THE BOOKSTORE YOU RENT FROM.

What about late charges? Late fees will be assessed only if the book is not returned by the due date. If you do not return the book by the end of your designated return day, then the book will automatically re-rent itself for the same price. You will be notified of the new due date by an email and your personal account

What If I damage the Book? mr bookhead .com understands things happen. If the book is damaged, the textbook stores will not take the book back, The student will be charged the retail price of the book.

Do I have to use a credit card? Yes, you will be required to use a credit or debit card when you register. That same credit or debit card will be used for all your rentals. This will add convenience for you and ensures that you will be charged correctly for your rental. If you would like to change your card, go to the Edit my profile page.

Can I pay at the Book Store? No. When you reserve your books online you will be required to use your credit or debit card for reservation. That card will be charged for the rental after you pick it up from the bookstore. The only thing you need for the bookstore is your Personal Check-Out Number.

How much time will I have to pick-up my books? When you reserve your books you will have 24 hours to pick-up your books, if you reserve your books during the weekend then your 24 hours will start the following Monday at 6:00 a.m.

What is the textbook selection? Your book selection will be the textbooks that the local bookstore has placed for renting on your campus

What if I transfer to another school or use two universities? You should update your profile information to reflect your transfer to a new school. If you attend two universities, then create two profiles for each school you attend.

What if I DO NOT see my school? If you don’t see your school you should yell very loud “I NEED mr bookhead .com , IT SAVES MY LIFE” as you run into your nearest campus textbook store. No, really you should request it on the website at the contact us page and ask for mr bookhead .com at your local textbook store and direct them to the Website.
