If you choose to register so that you can rent textbooks, we will ask you for certain information, including:

• Your name, the school you attend, and your address;
• Other identification information;
• Your email address;
• A password.

If you choose to rent one or more textbooks we will ask you for:

• Credit card information to complete your transaction

3. Use and Marketing

You agree that we may use your personal information to:

• Notify the participating bookstore(s) that you select of the textbook(s) you are requesting;
• collect fees;
• enforce our Participation Agreement;
• send important announcements and other important information about your account;
• customize, measure, and improve our services and the Site’s content and layout;

We may disclose any or all of your personal information to third parties: 1) when such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on mybookhead; 2) to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; 3) to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law; or 4) if you agree by checking the appropriate box, we may allow third parties to access your information in order to contact you about products or services you may be interested in.

Your password is the key to your account. Please do not disclose your mybookhead password to anyone. If you do share your password or your personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If your password has been compromised for any reason, then you should immediately notify mybookhead and change your password.
